Collective Motion believes the postnatal period is a crucial time for new mums to recover and recondition their bodies following the stresses of pregnancy and childbirth. We work with you to rediscover your love for movement and exercise by regaining strength and restoring tone in a controlled yet challenging environment, leaving you feeling stretched and relaxed. 

If you are struggling to find the right exercise for you in your fourth trimester or are finding the concept of returning to exercise daunting, our Post Natal Pilates classes will be perfect for you. Your body changes a lot through pregnancy and childbirth. Our classes help you to get moving again while also learning to manage the demands on your body of being a new mum. 

Having no more than four clients at once allows our qualified instructors to be there to help guide you through the class. Our Post Natal Pilates classes are designed for you and every exercise can be modified to meet you where your body is that day.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • New mums are welcome to join our classes a minimum of 6 weeks following the birth of your bub.

  • No you don’t. Because our classes are taught by quality trained instructors who have extensive knowledge of pre and post natal, they are able to assess and monitor your progression for you.

  • We keep our Post Natal classes bub free to provide a space for mums to come and focus on themselves without the distraction of caring for their little ones. We understand this isn’t an option for everyone, so fear not! Our Mums and Bubs classes allow you to exercise with your bub and take the stress out of finding care for your little one..   • You definitely can! Our Post Natal classes are catered for all different capabilities. With a maximum of 4 people per class, our instructors can modify the exercises to meet you where you are.

  • Unfortunately due to the nature of the class, they aren’t able to be claimed.

    However, we do have other classes that can be claimed! Either our ‘Claimable Pregnancy Classes’ taught by physios or our ‘Clinical Pilates’ classes taught by our physio and osteos.
