We know it can be difficult to find time for your own exercise and health needs as a new mum. We’ve created a space where both you and your little ones are welcome.

Collective Motion believes the postnatal period is a crucial time for new mums to recover and recondition their bodies following the stresses of pregnancy and childbirth. We work with you to rediscover your love for movement and exercise by regaining strength and restoring tone in a controlled yet challenging environment, leaving you feeling stretched and relaxed. 

Bubs are encouraged to come along with you to our warm and nurturing space. Your little one can be kept safely next to you while you work out on our high quality reformer beds. 

Your body changes a lot through pregnancy and childbirth. Our classes help you to get moving again while also learning to manage the demands on your body of being a new mum.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • New mums are welcome to join our classes a minimum of 6 weeks following the birth of your bub.

  • No you don’t. Because our classes are taught by quality trained instructors who have extensive knowledge of pre and post natal, they are able to assess and monitor your progression for you.

  • Of course! Our classes only have a maximum of four per class, allowing our instructors to give you the guidance and help you need as a beginner.

  • We don't have a specific age limit, it's more based around how you think your bub would go in the class and keeping you both safe. With the classes, the bubs are either on the bed with you, in your arms or in a bouncer/carrier. It is up to you whether you think your bub would be able to cooperate for the full 45 minutes, as it's unsafe for them to be walking around or wanting to play with the reformer beds or equipment.

  • Not at all! If you’d prefer they can stay in a bouncer or carrier next to your reformer to give you the freedom to exercise on your own. If you’d like to exercise without having your bub with you, our Post Natal Pilates classes are the perfect environment. Learn more here.

Pricing: Our classes are $37 for a single visit.

There is also the option to purchase 5, 10 or 20 class packs which bring the cost per class down to $32, $30 and $28 respectively.
