Clinical Exercise

Our clinical exercise classes are a mix of Clinical Pilates and other functional rehabilitation exercises. These classes offer tailored injury rehabilitation and are specifically designed for each individual client.

Our programs are full of variety, allowing us to keep our clients challenged while also conditioning your body in a range of different functional postures and movements. With the use of a mix of equipment, including a Pilates reformer bed, a Pilates Wunda Chair and traditional mat work, our Osteopaths ensure you get the most out of each class.

Why are our classes different?

  • Our classes are taken by Osteopaths who use both their existing clinical reasoning combined with complete Pilates training to create personalised sessions.

  • With a maximum of two clients per class, we are able to continually provide hands-on correction to ensure optimal technique at all times.

  • At Collective Motion you won't do the same class twice, our Osteopaths work hard to continually challenge our clients by providing new exercises to keep up with your progress.

  • We use a combination of reformer exercises, Wundachair exercises and mat exercises to achieve a well rounded class.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • With a run time of 50 minutes, our osteopaths are able to include both warm up and stretching. This allows us to work on your mobility as well as your strength to optimise your body's function.

  • Whether you're an existing or new client to Collective Motion, all our clinical exercise clients are required to have a one on one assessment prior to joining classes.

  • We do not offer one on one classes at Collective Motion. Because we only allow a maximum of two clients per class, we find that our practitioners are able to allocate plenty of time and assistance to each client in this setting.
